Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are you session fees?
Initial Intake Appointments are $225, Standard Individual Sessions are $175, Coaching/Consultation are $175/hour.
  • Do you take insurance?
No, I do not. I am an out-of-network provider and can send you an itemized receipt or “superbill” that you submit directly to your insurance company to leverage your out-of-network benefits. If you intend to submit superbills to your insurance, I recommend contacting your insurance carrier to confirm your out-of-network mental health benefits.
  • Are all of your sessions virtual?
Yes! I use a HIPPA-compliant video platform to conveniently meet where and when best suits your busy schedule.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
My practice has a 48-hour cancellation policy, barring emergency. I ask that you make your best effort to cancel or reschedule sessions ahead of time.
  • What kinds of clients do you see; Do I have to be a working professional to work together?
I see clients struggling with a wide range of issues and challenges. You do not need to be in a high-pressure career for us to work together! I love working with young adults, new parents, retirees and clients from all walks of life.
  • What types of challenges are you experienced in treating?
Adjustment disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety and panic disorder), attachment trauma, burnout, depressive disorders, grief and loss, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and relationship issues. I am also LGBTQIA+ allied and affirming in my therapeutic work.
  • How do I know if I am ready for therapy?
You are likely ready to begin therapy if you are curious about yourself and interested in learning ways to feel better. Just being here reading this tells me that you are interested in taking the next steps toward bettering your life.
  • Does something have to be “wrong” for me to start therapy?
Not necessarily! Many clients come to therapy with the objective to learn about themselves and deepen their awareness and ability to lead better, more connected and fulfilled lives.
  • What makes your practice different from large online therapy platforms?
Unlike corporate online platforms and large machine-like private practices, I am and will always be first and foremost committed to my clients. The therapeutic relationship I have with my clients and the work we do together takes top priority, which often gets lost in these other settings. I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach and will make sure that we are a good fit to work together. Importantly, given the nature of the majority of my client’s work, I make every effort to meet the demands of busy professionals who have tight and stressful schedules.
  • Where are you licensed?
I am licensed to see therapy clients in CT, TN, & NJ
